We arrived rather late after a slow drive from the Brjanslaekur port in a crazy storm, so were really happy to see the host around, instead of another of those 'enter pin code upon arrival and receive instructions in your email'.
The host was friendly and made us feel comfortable. She told us where we could eat, how to prepare breakfast and cautioned on the bad weather.
The room was really intimate and rather spacious. We were very impressed by the big bathroom that had magazines and lots of toiletries. It was obvious the host pays attention to the littlest details, which was such a nice touch.
Breakfast was already prepared and placed neatly in the fridge for us. We enjoyed the sumptuous spread.
There is nothing much to do in this little town, but we were really glad to spend a night at this gorgeous guesthouse. I would highly recommend this guesthouse and look forward to returning in summer!
