Skógar Guesthouse

Average: $150 per night
I rate it: 5/5

Literally steps away from one of Iceland's famous waterfalls, Skógafoss, this guesthouse is also surrounded by cafes, shops and gas stations.

The hosts are very friendly and chatted with us as we sat down for coffee in the lovely kitchen at night.

The room had a sweet country style to it, and everything felt very personal. It might have been a little girl's room, and that was a nice, warm feeling for me.

Bathroom was spacious and clean. The heating was good and beds were soft. We had a good rest for the night after a long day.

Breakfast in the morning was superb, the hosts put out quite a spread and it was nice chatting with our guests, sharing about our adventures and where we come from.

We left with a wonderful feeling about the place, and will definitely return in future. Recommended for everyone, especially couples!
