We arrived on a cold, winter day ahead of our check-in time but the host was kind to let us in first and make ourselves comfortable. When she arrived, she cautioned us about the bad weather and was very friendly.
The room was small but beds were incredibly comfortable. Heating was good and there was also a mini fridge in the room.
There are two shared bathrooms on the lower level and both of them are very spacious, equipped with toiletries and towels.
You can make your own meals in the kitchen as well, where everything is clean and in great condition.
Due to the bad weather, we had to stay another night in Egilsstaðir, and the host made sure we were taken care of.
I really appreciated the sincere hospitality here and could tell that both hosts are such nice people! Would definitely return and recommend to everyone.
