Altamont Hotel Sydney

As you may know, accommodation in Sydney is crazy expensive, and it was a shock to me when I was looking for a hotel.

I settled for Altamont because not only is it pet-friendly (not that I brought my dog) but receptionist was very friendly, and the price was alright.

Location-wise, it is in Darlinghurst, an eclectic neighbourhood. It is within walking distance to major shopping attractions.

You will be pleased to know that there are many lovely cafes and pubs as well, which stay open till early morning.

I really like this hotel and although it is considered budget, it was okay.

The room was nicely made up, quite spacious I would say, and the bathroom, albeit a little small, but adequate.

Breakfast spread was simple with just a few choices, so most days we ate out at cafes.

I would really recommend this hotel because while budget, it is boutique and quite quiet most times, very accessible to most places.

Perhaps you can try other hotels under the same chain as well, they all look pretty charming.
