I fell in love with Zermatt on my maiden trip to Switzerland. I think after years, I still am in love with Zermatt.

This hotel is breathtaking. I went in winter, and we were extremely lucky to be given a huge room with our own porch... which was filled with snow. The snow was leveled and it was such a welcome to us.
The staff were extremely friendly and although it is a bed-and-breakfast hotel, but I do feel that it is underrated.
The hotel is small compared to neighbouring ones, but it faces Matterhorn, 'the most photographed mountain in the world'. Many skiiers are often heard laughing on the streets as they go towards the mountain, and there are lovely families with kids on sleigh too.
I really loved the décor, complete with lacey curtains and soft lighting.
Wow, writing this makes me miss the hotel so much. This hotel really completes the Zermatt experience, and I cannot wait to return someday.
I would recommend to newlyweds on a sweet honeymoon or even small families.
Lovely, lovely place that I will never forget.
