The Scarlet Hotel

Average: $200 per night
I rate it: 4/5

One of my absolute favorite hotels, The Scarlet is an extraordinary baroque-styled boutique hotel that is fit for a queen.
I have been here a couple of times, either for a night's stay or some drinks at Breeze, their cosy rooftop bar popular with expats and locals.

Staff are impeccably-dressed and the rooms are simply comfortable.
Although I do think unless you stay in the suites, rooms can be slightly small, especially for the balconies, which are really just 1m x 2m.

Location is good, right smack on Club Street in Chinatown, next to some fantastic bars and cute cafes.

The Scarlet is a pretty hotel that I would recommend should you want something different and lavish from the usual business hotel.
And I cannot emphasize enough how gorgeous the décor is.

I would strongly recommend this hotel to host a small fun party over drinks at Bold, their other bar, which can be partitioned off from the lobby, on the main level. You can simply step out for some fresh air as well.

I will definitely return sometime soon.
