Yun's Paradise Hotel

Average: $100 per night
I rate it: 4/5

Pick this hotel if comfort is most important to you.

For me, I was amazed at how beautiful the room is, because it did not look that nice in photos. Very reminiscent of The Scarlet Hotel in Singapore, I always looked forward to returning to my room after a long day out. Bed was so comfortable I could laze in all day.

As the bustling traffic can be quite noisy at night, I would suggest asking for a room on a higher level if possible.

Location is quite central and easily accessible. But taxi drivers will usually miss the hotel as it stands on a corner of a junction, so convey the exact address to them.

Concierge staff are not very helpful and I had to call several times for any one request.

There are better hotels within a similar budget closer to People's Square though, so give this hotel a miss if you are looking to cover the city in just a few days.

Oh, and skip the buffet breakfast. A complete waste of money on absolutely horrible food.
