Perhaps one of my favorite cottage-stays in Iceland, this was a luxurious and well-equipped cabin.

Although we had to put on the bedding ourselves as it is not a sleeping bag option, service was otherwise great.

Very private and tucked away, we enjoyed the private hot tub in the balcony which overlooks the river.

Within walking distance to the gas stations and supermarket as well, good for guests who would like to self-cater in the fully-equipped kitchen.

There is just one channel on TV though, but this should not be a problem since watching TV should be the last thing on everyone's mind!

I would definitely return and also recommend to couples, and even families who can make use of the BBQ pit beside the hot tub!
