Santhiya Koh Yao Yai

Average: $150 per night
I rate it: 5/5

We spent 3 nights at this lovely resort and it turned out to be one of our best getaways, despite it being the monsoon season when we visited in August.

To get to the resort, we took a speedboat from Ao Po Grand Marina. The journey was about an hour.

When we arrived, we were met with warm hospitality and a fuss-free check-in. Lunch was so delicious, we returned to the restaurant for all our subsequent meals!

The room was extremely spacious and comfortable. It has a great, calming view of the sea. At night, we could see the stars while soaking in the outdoor bathtub on the balcony. It was truly amazing.

Although there are no water sports, we spent our time walking on the beach, exploring the little island and enjoying a spa session, which was really one of the best we ever had. It was so therapeutic, we spent a lot of time resting! We also really liked the huge free form swimming pool.

All in all, a beautiful resort which places a lot of emphasis into design and hospitality. Definitely recommended for couples and solo travelers who are looking for a good relaxation time!
