In Malé where there are countless budget accommodation choices, picking a good hotel can be tough. I was glad to put up at this new hotel which opened late last year.

With a spanking new facade and sitting in the city center, it makes exploring Malé on foot easy. Otherwise, taking a taxi everywhere will only cost a flat rate of 20MVR (1.30USD).

There is always a concierge staff who can speak English, so that is good news.
All the staff are very friendly and are always ready to assist, regardless the hour.

Good breakfast buffet spread at the restaurant, where we also had dinner. The restaurant serves unbelievably good fruit juices and tom yam soup!

Rooms are extremely spacious, clean and well-equipped. It may also be nice to note that there is a Nespresso machine and lovely toiletries.

My boyfriend planned a little surprise for my birthday and the room was meticulously decorated with rose petals scattered all over, with a cute heart-shaped cake sitting on the table upon my entrance.

This hotel did not disappoint in terms of standard and service, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Malé.
